EGEA Turku and ISHA Turku invite you to our joint pre-Christmas party! Pre-Christmas parties are traditional ways for friends, co-workers and other groups to celebrate Christmas before the holidays. Despite the theme, the parties often have very little to do with actual Christmas, and are more about having fun together before the winter break.

The event is free to attend for all, and you can arrive and leave whenever is convenient for you. It will take place on Thursday, 8th of December, at 18:00-21:00. The venue is Aitiopaikka Club Room, Inspehtorinkatu 3.

ISHA and EGEA will provide soft drinks, a gingerbread decoration station, as well as entertainment such as board games, beer pong, and a quiz with a special prize for the winner. You can also bring your own drinks and snacks if you’d like.

ISHA Helsinki and ISHA Turku welcome you to join us for our joint day trip to Hämeenlinna on the 19th of November!

Hämeenlinna is among the oldest cities in Finland – the oldest inland city in fact! – and boasts a medieval castle with an impressive history that we will explore together. We’ll also have lunch and, time permitting, free time to explore the city, with fellow history enthusiasts of course.

From Turku, we meet at 9:15 in the morning and leave together for Hämeenlinna, where we meet up with ISHA Helsinki. After exploring the city together we’ll grab a bus back to Turku. The cost of the trip is 10€ which will go towards travel costs. The sign up starts on 10.10 12:00. The sign up binding, though you can give your place to a friend if you’d like.

ISHAs Halloween sitz costume party is back! Sign up for the event starts on 29.9, 12:00. Sign up quickly, because last year we sold out the event in less than an hour! The cost is 18€ with alcoholic beverages, and 16€ for without.

The sitz will take place in Osakuntasali, on the 27th of October. The doors will open 17:45 and party starts at 18:00 – don’t be late! Dress code is a Halloween costume, best costumes will be rewarded.

If you are new to sitz parties, don’t worry. You’ll receive instructions and local students will be happy to teach you as the night goes on!

Sitsit ovat Osakuntasalilla 27.10, ovet aukeavat 17:45, ja juhlallisuudet alkavat 18:00. Pukukoodina on jälleen naamiaisasu, ja parhaat puvut palkitaan! Tapahtuma on 16€ alkoholittomana, ja 18€ alkoholillisena.
