ISHA Turku/Åbo equals international academic connections and opportunities for everyone. Our offerings include both international seminars and also other activities encouraging the cross-border academic interaction of university students. We are also proud of our legendary History Pub Quiz 🍻 concept, a tradition that has lasted for decades. Our events and other activities are always open 🤗 to anyone who fascinates themselves over the historical and social phenomena, no matter whether are you studying history as your major. We especially welcome the international students 🌍 to participate our events!
ISHA … what is that?
ISHA Turku/Åbo is the largest local section of the International Students of History Association (ISHA) in Scandinavia. We coordinate the international cooperation on the fields of history, other humanities and social sciences between the students of the University of Turku and the Åbo Akademi University and the international ISHA.
